Are you ready to celebrate the final Full Moon of 2020? If you’ve ever had the opportunity to watch the Full Moon on a fresh blanket of snow you will know just how magickal it can be. While the Moon wasn’t Full last week we had that opportunity. We had a snow storm here in New England just before Yule that lasted through the 24th before we got an incredible amount of rain that melted it all. The night of Yule we happened to walk outside to grab something and it was actually quite warm for this time of year …humid almost…the yard and the street were filled the most beautiful fog. The fog made it that much brighter outside and the world around us was this shade of blue that you can only find when the energy of the Full Moon greets the snow at that special time of night. Just so beautiful. In that moment was also silence…. with the exception of a owl hooting across the street that stillness was really incredible.
This energy that I’m describing around us is what came in when the Wheel shifted and what I feel around us now. It’s peaceful… it’s healing… it’s filled with hope and it’s growing tonight as only the magick of the Full Moon can do. We’ve no doubt all had a challenging year and I won’t sit here and say those challenges are over. We are headed out onto that fresh blanket of snow to blaze some new trails and see what happens. We must remember to look for the light of the Moon for she will always help to guide our way. You must also always remember that when things get foggy she will shine even brighter if you remember to look.
Tonight I invite you to bring this energy of hope and inspiration around you. Allow the healing energy to come to you and help you to begin to heal some of the wounds that you may be carrying. Know that tonight’s Moon may make you feel emotional and that’s ok. Allow yourself to connect with your emotions. A bubble bath is always a wonderful place to let some tears go if you need to. Use tonight as a night to release and heal and take that energy that you need as the Great Goddess and Mother Earth are bringing you whatever you may find that you need you just need to be open to receiving them.
From my main tarot deck I drew the judgement card for us today. Really it’s one of the most perfect cards for us tonight. Judgement calls on us to face our past before we move forward. Acknowledge all that has happened this year. Pull that energy out of the shadows in your safe space and shine a beautiful light on it. Work with it and then work to begin to release it. Remember that healing takes time but in order to heal the past you must look at the past. It’s time to accept whatever has happened and let it go. Are you ready? We are going to let go. We’ve all learned lessons this year. We’ve all had challenge. What you want to take with you tonight is that you are in control. Right? You have got this. Things are under control. We are moving forward and making progress and that’s what matters. Tonight we are going to release what we can. Rise up knowing just how strong you are and grow that energy. Let tonight’s Moon heal you, inspire you and then empower you. Then I want you to find one special star tonight and make a wish. This is a wish for the new year. A wish that you want to see come your way in 2020. Every time you see that star bring that wish to her again. Get ready to make that wish come true.
