Which card did you choose? Can you believe that the Season of the Witch is here! As we move closer to Samhain I just love the energy that is moving in around us. Many of you have noticed that we are in a powerful time of transition and change. Remember this is a good time to let go of things that aren’t working for you now so that you have room to welcome new energy on our Witch’s New Year. Let’s take a look at the card that you chose to help you on your journey today. I used the Sacred Forest Oracle deck that many of you requested yesterday. Ready?
Card 1 – Reflecting Pool – Stillness
“As you stand on the soft moss at the edge of the forest pool, you can see your own reflection. A soft breeze ripples the surface. Your image wavers and shifts, only to return as the air becomes still. In the quietude of this moment, you tap into the internal source of your power. You watch as your reflected image transforms into the highest form of you. What beauty and grace!”
Have you ever had the chance to walk by yourself in the forest and just listen to the birds and let the wind move all around you. There is something so peaceful about the energy there that I find always helps me to collect my thoughts. Find a place to stop the world for a moment today. You need time to be able to ground, center and just collect your thoughts. A time of reflection is needed in your life right night. If you’ve been finding that things have been a bit challenging or chaotic in your life, this pause you will find is important to you being able to focus on where you are and what’s happening around you. Take that time to breathe. Go within and see how you are truly feeling. You will feel more in control and you will likely find that the answers you seek are within if you get time to think about them.
Card 2 – Crystal Cave – Trust
“You stand before the cave, but you can’t see in. Although you don’t know what to expect, certitude is rising within you. You know that you are meant to go forward. You know that you are safe. You take a deep breath in … and then take the first step.”
I think one of the toughest things that I’ve worked on in my life has been trust, trust in myself, trust in others, trust in things to work out in a way that is needed. When I decided to honor my gifts and work with my intuition I had to learn to place complete trust in myself and my guides. It wasn’t easy. Right now you are at a point in your life where trust needs to be a focus for you. Self-trust will be at the front of this. Trust in your feelings and your intuition. Know that it’s a valid source of information for you. If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed lately take a moment to quiet the world around you. Take the journey of the Reflecting Pool in the previous card. If you found that you were drawn to both cards this is even more important. This is a time that you need to quiet your mind and listen to your heart and soul. You already have the answers, you just need to trust in your ability to give them to yourself.
Card 3 – Bear Spirit – Healing
“You can sense the presence of the bear, even before you see him. You turn slowly and look deep into his eyes, as a long lineage of healers-invisible, yet real-step out from beyond the trees and surround you both. When you reach out and touch his thick fur, you feel healing energy instantly surge through you.”
Whenever I see a bear I am instantly reminded of a Mama Bear and her cubs. That’s one place you never want to be is between a Mama and her cubs. Bears are known for the strength, courage and nurturing energy that they bring you. In your life you have healing that needs to happen in order for you to move forward. Look at the healing that you can do in your life and let the energy of the bear surround you today. What else can you do to help let go of any pain that you may be carrying now so that you can look forward to the future with hope and optimism for new things coming. This is a great time to work on letting go of what is no longer working for you to make room for new things to come your way with the Witch’s New Year.
