The Fairy Tale Cottage

I was lucky enough to travel to California to visit my family a couple of years ago.  While we were there we visited so many amazing places.  One of my favorites was Carmel.  One of the things I loved about Carmel was all the houses! There were so many beautiful cottages.  One, in particular, stood out to me and I called it the Fairy Tale Cottage. That’s the house that you see above.  I was just so excited when I saw it! It looks like the houses that you see in the fairy tales as a child but it was there in front of me.  I didn’t realize at the time that the town is known for its Fairy Tale Cottages! If you look up Fairy Tale Cottages in Carmel California you will have fun browsing for quite some time. 



This particular house though is for sale! I came across it the other night and I recognized it right away.  It even has the little stone path leading to the perfect gate with a lantern! I must confess I intentionally walked by this house a couple of times when I was there as I just loved it so much.

Doesn’t this look like the most amazing spot to spend an afternoon or evening?

The inside is just as amazing.  You can see the book shelves just waiting to be filled with my collection. 😉

If you ever get the chance to visit Carmel, it’s an incredibly beautiful town.
