For those of you who have been with me for a while you are familiar with the Seasons of the Witch Oracle Cards. I fell in love with their first deck the Samhain Oracle last year before Samhain. I was excited to work with their Yule Oracle which was also a big hit with all of you. Imagine my excitement when I found the Beltane Oracle the other day! I must confess I forgot to look! I was actually looking into a different deck to bring to all of you and this one popped up. I didn’t even have to think about it, it was in my cart and on my way to me as soon as I saw it.
The reason that I really love these oracle decks so much is that they are so original. The Seasons of the Witch Oracles have amazing decks to go along with the Sabbats and I really feel that they do an amazing job capturing the energy of our celebrations and the magick that corresponds to them.
As with the other two decks the cards are on heavy stock that lets me know they will be good to use for the long haul.
Each deck in their series has the most beautiful foiled edges. This one has gold. It’s just one of the many many examples of the attention to detail, love and magickal energy that they put into these decks.
All the images are incredibly unique and detailed going along so perfectly with the descriptions. When I purchase an oracle deck I hope that it speaks to me. I’m looking for those descriptions as oracles don’t follow the traditional tarot they stand on their own. It’s important to me that the pictures really do a good job reflecting the descriptions and I love how each card brings it’s own unique energy. What amazes me most is how well they managed to design a deck that really captures the energy of the season but can be used for divination to get answers to important questions. I’ve put the cards to the test and they are quite accurate for divination and I enjoy the information that they bring me.
